We’re currently looking for a Head of Business Development to join our core team, to drive KitchenMate's technology licensing business expansion across North America.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing sales strategy, and resource plan to hit our business objectives
  • Hiring and training sales team members and setting their targets
  • Leading the sales team, and managing their performance
  • Implementing sales technology stack, best practices, and providing training to team members
  • Building long-lasting partnerships and negotiating contracts that are beneficial to our long-term success
  • Driving innovation by sharing customer insights and data with the other departments
  • Collaborating with the leadership team regularly to maintain alignment

Must have

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B sales and partnerships
  • Experience closing SMBs and enterprise deals
  • Experience leading a sales team and managing monthly team objectives
  • Experience selling to food-service operators and/or food retail and restaurant operators
  • Experience running trade shows and closing deals at trade shows
  • Developing sales strategies, playbooks, and collaterals
  • Strong contract negotiation skills and comfortable navigating corporate partnerships
  • Technical expertise and ability to deeply understand different technological features
  • Successfully introduced new products into a new market
  • Experience selling in both Canadian and US markets and familiar with the different limitations
Bonus

  • Familiarity with the autonomous retail sector and smart-store technology
  • Experience leading strategy in a scaling Start-Up environment
  • Experience in food delivery platform/marketplace businesses (UberEats, DoorDash, Ritual etc.)
  • Experience working as an operator in CPG, food service, or food retail.
